Led by a Record-Breaker
Akke Rahman
Akke Rahman is a record-breaking British-Bangladeshi mountaineer and the first British Muslim to summit Mount Everest, achieving the climb in 2022 and again in 2024 while raising significant funds for global humanitarian causes. He holds the UK record for the fastest ascent of Mount Elbrus, reaching the summit in under 24 hours, and has climbed peaks across the world including Kilimanjaro, Mont Blanc, Ama Dablam, Kanchenjunga and Manaslu, as well as UK peaks such as Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike. Akke leads every Roam Expeditions trip in person, supported by a team of highly qualified local guides, and remains Founder & Ambassador of The Roam Project — his determination, resilience and commitment to community impact making him an inspirational figure both on the mountain and off it.
